Three Scholarships available to HennaCon 2018

Last HennaCon, we awarded one incredible artist with the Spirit of HennaCon scholarship so that she could return in 2018. This recipient is generous, and kind, and a light to all who meet her. It was so much fun to surprise her with this gift, and many many tears were shared. Then, two other individuals anonymously donated conference fees to the 2018 conference. WHAT? We were floored! We are now able to offer two additional scholarships for artists who may not otherwise be able to attend.

One of these scholarships will be awarded by jury to an individual who has never attended HennaCon before, and the other will be a random allocation open to the general public. To apply for either of these scholarships, please complete the application by clicking the button above!

Morgan Cyr was a young henna artist taken from us before her time. She connected with henna while undergoing treatment and hospitalization- it was one of the few crafts she could participate in comfortably. She was a talented artist and created beautiful hennaed drums, and shared her art with us back in the old days of the henna forums. This scholarship is in honor of Morgan's Memory, and is sponsored by her mother Darlene Cyr and Henna Caravan.

The Morgan Cyr Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a young woman under 25 starting out in her henna journey. We are looking for an artist who reflects the resilient spirits of Darlene and Morgan, and for whom attendance would be a life changing event. If this is you, we encourage you to apply below.
